COME BUILD HOPE 

Last year many young adults joined 375 people who went to Mexico as part of SBPC’s Come Build Hope program. Come Build Hope allows us to impact our world in real ways by building houses for families in Mexico and help provide a way for families to stay together. It is a great time to see how we as part of the church can impact the world around us.

Come Build Hope 2008 will be Memorial Day Weekend. Information and sign ups will begin in March 2008.

“When I went to Come Build Hope last year I thought I was just going to spend the weekend building houses. I had no idea how I would meet God there. I saw God in the appreciation the family had for the room we built for them. I saw God in the way my team of 15 worked together – even though we had to rebuild some of our walls a couple times. And I continue to see God because today I am in small group with those same people I met when I went to Mexico to build houses. It’s wonderful to be able to meet regularly with other people who understand the challenges I face in trying to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.”
