Sermon based small groups allow young adults at SBPC to take Sunday worship one step further by growing and connecting with others over a 10-week small group session. Our sermon based small groups meet at a variety of times and locations and include young adult groups, intergenerational groups, young adult women’s groups, and intergenerational men’s groups. Some young adults choose to serve in small groups by facilitating and hosting these groups. Each small group is encouraged to serve and impact together each session – one of the main ways that is done is through Come Build Hope on Memorial Day weekend.

“I was invited to small group by someone I met at worship – I had no idea what accepting that invitation would mean – I have new friends, a better relationship with Christ, and even went to Mexico last year to build houses with 375 other people from SBPC – I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me this session as my small group challenges me to become a more fully devoted follower.”
