Cal Hibbard, before his wife's death, spent many years in Peru as a Wycliffe Bible Translator. Their children were born and raised there. Cal now lives in Waxhaw, North Carolina, and has organized the thousands of documents and tapes in the Cameron Townsend archives and are now available to the Christian and academic communities. Cal was chosen for this very important role because of his rich background and many years with Wycliffe and his years as personal secretary to Wycliffe founder, Cameron Townsend. 

Cal still spends three months a year helping the SIL work in Peru in various roles.
