Generations: Believe. Belong. Build.
I love our new campus. I especially love our new patio space. At the center is a fountain built with stones from the original sanctuary built five decades ago and on the chapel lawn there is a sculpture that represents God’s living water that flows into us and through us to the world. Together these pieces remind us of the waters of baptism. A reminder that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus. Another beautiful feature of our new campus is the chapel art glass--a mosaic designed as a cross. The different shapes and colors of glass are beautiful alone, but when they are arranged together they form something greater than the sum of their parts. What a great image of the church!
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:12)
We intended to build buildings and improve our campus, but God has also been at work building up his people. He has truly been faithful and generous to us so that we can be faithful and generous to others. I’m amazed at how many people have given, served and prayed to further our vision of being a growing community of fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. I hope you’ll give, serve, and pray to help us finish strong.
