Presbyterians Caring for Chaplains and Military Personnel (PCCMP) provides pastoral care for over 200 chaplains and their families. Chaplains serve their nation in the military by sharing the burdens brought about by grief and loss. They routinely spend months away from their families. They serve the nation in the military or other federal chaplaincy positions with the Department of Veterans Affairs or the Federal Bureau of Prisons. In recent years, they have been right beside military personnel serving in combat in Iraq or Afghanistan.
By taking care of them, we are taking care of the men and women of our military. PCCMP is committed to supporting these chaplains and their families. We offer two annual conferences - one on each coast. These retreats provide an opportunity for chaplains to get away and strengthen connections with their families and other Presbyterian chaplains, by making invaluable connections.
